Remote surgery has been possible for some time now, combining advanced robotics and telecommunications. Now, surgery is not the easiest of things to do, so I figure if you can do that remotely, you must be able to do pretty much anything remotely.
First up, I would like to experiment with remote massage. I’ve always ignored those massage chairs that they have in motorway service stations. Frankly, they look like a comfy chair, but a rubbish massage. Now, if they had robotic arms on them and you could speak in to a microphone and explain (to the masseur who would be working from home) that your lower back needed extra work… it would be a different story!
